To upgrade to the i-Vu Pro v6.0 application
12 Enter
for the name.

Restore i-Vu v3.1 or v4.2 databases to upgraded MS SQL
1 Insert ihe USB drive that contains the database backups from your i-Vu v3.1 or v4.2 system, into your
computer.
2 Open
and expand Databases.
3 Right-click the
and select

.
4 Under Source for restore select
.
5 Click on the browse icon on the right.
6 Click the
button in the
window.
7 Browse to the USB drive that contains the backed-up databases and select main.bak (or whatever name you
assigned to the main database).
8 Click
twice to return to the
window.
9 Check the box under the Restore column.
10 Select Options at the top left of the
window.
11 Check
Overwrite existing database
and click
.
12 A popup message will appear showing the restore was successful.
13 Repeat the above for the remain three databases.
14 Close

Upgrade in SiteBuilder v6.0
1 Open
. and select

2 Browse to your i-Vu v3.1 or v4.2 system folder on the USB drive.
3 Enter a new system name, if desired.
4 Enter the name of the computer where the SQL server is installed.
This is usually the PC name itself. (See below)
5 Leave the port field blank unless the IT department insists that a port number be entered.
Default port number for SQL Server is 1433.
